Gecko Adventures - Lost Relic

Help the gecko adventurer explore old temple ruins in this 2D pixel platformer and recover an ancient artefact from long forgotten times, that no gecko alive has ever seen before. Make your way through a lush jungle, dodge deadly traps and get ready to swing yourself over dangerous grounds with your tongue.

Controls
The game can be played with keyboard as well as with controller.
(Menus may not be navigable vertically with controller in WebGL due to unknown reasons)

This game was developed over three months within the project "Indiegame Development Lab II" at the Bauhaus-University Weimar in 2022.

tried playing it but the controls for the keyboard are terrible , mouse key for tongue / whip is too awkward on a laptop , duck down should really be automatic and e for interaction doesnt feel right ...
also seems none of these can be changed.
sort the controls out and it might be a good game - ie arrows to move , zxc space for actions like a million other popular games are on steam !

I've happened to play quiet a lot games that use very similar controls like "Stick Fight: The Game" and Minecraft, which you might have heard of. I can understand that the controls might be a bit much to handle at first but you'll get used to it after a while :)
